About TKP

During every moment of our 25-plus years, we've been refining our understanding of B2B and consumer markets, challenges and opportunities. We've helped a lot of businesses make better decisions. Chances are, we've seen issues similar to yours, so we'll know how to help.

Our research philosophy is refreshingly practical. No one-size-fits-all approach here. From designing research to delivery of findings, we work with you, and for you (and clients tell us we're pretty great to work with too.)

You'll always feel like you have a trusted partner to talk to. We speak business language. Your language. We're straight shooters and clear communicators.

And it's your business that reaps the rewards. By asking the right questions and uncovering the most relevant insights, we deliver outputs that can guide change, drive understanding and help your business thrive.

After all, our success relies on yours.

Our people

Simon Edwards

Managing Partner

Engineers love identifying and solving problems which might explain why this qualified engineer has embraced market research. Simon loves the diversity of organisations he deals with, getting to know them intimately, and seeing them embrace research insights. When Simon isn't working you'll find him working the controls on his guitar amp. Simon has a passion for music, which he makes, listens to and obsesses over. His neighbours will tell you he's a much better market researcher than he is a musician.

Richard Birks

Partner

Combining his history selling chocolate and his love of puzzles, Richard finds nothing sweeter than helping clients solve their problems to make the right decisions for their business. Famous in the office for wanting to buy the product the client sells for every job he does, riding bikes slowly and cooking pizza quickly.

Mallory Pels

Partner

Mallory's career in market research is an extension of a self-confessed nosey nature, with better pay. She uses her powers for good, however, taking great joy in seeing businesses prosper after helping to find what makes them tick. When not deconstructing business problems and forming strategic solutions, Mallory is a dedicated online shopper and devoted shoe collector.

Brittany Simpson

Research Associate

Mystery shopping, brand health, customer experience, segmentation studies—no two days are the same for Brittany, which is just part of why she loves research as she does. Britt's a real people person, which may explain why she's great at research, and why clients like her. We like her because she likes a good laugh along with good wine, good cheese, and good music.

Monique Vukoja

Research Associate

Monique boasts terrific attention to detail, a necessity in good research. Her capabilities run much deeper than that, though, with special expertise in customer experience in both B2B and consumer spaces. She particularly loves the sheer variety of research work and seeing how businesses implement TKP's insights. At work or at home, she can often be found wearing polka dots and partaking in a good cup of tea.

Stephanie Karagiorgios

Project Assistant

Steph is focussed on the "now what?" She has an affinity for interpreting data and delivering tangible, actionable insights. With over 5 years' experience leading consumer marketing projects for household brands, she is further diversifying her skill set by undertaking her Masters of Analytics. Obsessed with the cultural melting pot she calls home, Steph spends her weekends brunching, supporting artists at shows, and making excuses to drink coffee.

Harry Tzaikos

Project Assistant

Harry's thirst for knowledge has driven him to study everything from finance to marketing to education. Following Marketing and Sales roles in the not-for-profit and retail sectors, his curious mind, love of census data and penchant for puzzles naturally led him to Market Research. This Perth native is passionate about turning insights into stories that drive strategic decision making. Outside of work hours you'll find him hunting down pastries or enjoying a glass of wine and a dance.
